The OnePlus 5 smartphone can now be updated to Android Oreo as the company has officially announced the Open Beta Program for the device. With the beta Oreo release, the smartphone was reported to sport the Face Unlock feature, which is seen on the OnePlus 5T. Although the feature is not present in the current build, an XDA Developers says it could come to the device in a future update. The beta update is only available for users enrolled in the Open Beta program. As a beta build, it’s expected to be less stable and has more bugs than the regular OTA updates.
