If something is broken doesn’t mean
that it can’t be fixed. Especially if it’s your favorite earphone which you
bought by paying a large amount of money. Yeah, it’s right that earphones break
pretty easily because we use them so often and harshly. They’re exposed to
rain, sun, airplane seat-backs, and the bottom of your backpack.
So don’t throw it in your dustbin if
they break. The most common problem on a pair of audio earphones is sound
only coming from one ear or side. If you have a luxurious pair of
earphones, changing them by buying new ones is not always the best option. For
many long-lasting earphones, there is possibly a warranty that may still be casing
them from imperfections. Before you try to cut any wires or strip the
earphones, contact the manufacturer first.
I’m here with a trick, how to fix
your earphones in the simplest possible way. So let’s start……
- Buy earphone splitters
- They're not so expensive; you will get a 6 way split
around INR 150 or so.
- Associate the splitter to your audio device's aux
output
- Associate the earphones with 'opposite working side' in
two of the output jacks in the splitter. Ultimately, you going to attach
one earphone with the left side working and the other with the right side
working.
- Wooho ! Your problem is fixed in under Rs 200 !!
To make this into a long-lasting
solution, you can cut off the earpiece that's not working in both the earphones
you’re using and ensnare the wires of the two working earphones for better
looks.
Make sure that you have insulated the wires that you cut off !!

any problem occurs. By the way, I have tested it personally, there is no any
problem using it. But after all, we are not taking any responsibility.
